I am not even sure where to begin. So my last post was about precious snacky. However, my last update you post was before rush. Ouch. Ok, so a LOT has happened since then. I have finished my first semester of college. Blessed and thankful. It was one of the hardest and biggest adjustments of my life thus far but was also a lot of fun.
I had the opportunity to pledge into the Delta Gamma Fraternity. I can honestly say, without a doubt in all the bones in my body, that DG was one of the best decisions I have made while being at Ole Miss. I really want to do a post just on that so stay tuned. Post pledging swap season started in which I went to one that was hometown heroes. I really enjoyed sticking on my old HA uniform and showing love to my alma mater.
Freshman year brings a million things going on always. So the first semester really went by so quickly. I blinked post rush and it was DG Formal, parents weekend, then Thanksgiving, I came back to school for two weeks and headed home to spend 6 weeks with family celebrating the various holidays. Going home for so long was much needed to rest and relax. I had the opportunity to spend New Years with my Aunt, Uncle, and cousins skiing in West Virgina. ( another separate post coming for that as well)
If you aren’t aware my birthday is January 3rd where I turned 19. I was so upset because I spent the whole day alone but my beautiful friends from home surprised me with a birthday dinner. Now I am back at school and I was initiated into DG this weekend! It has been such a wild ride but here is to 2nd semester!
